LatticePower CTO speaks at Taipei International Photonics Festival and ICNS-9 Conference
2011, July 29, Dr. Hanmin Zhao, CTO of LatticePower, gave speeches in Taipei International Photonics Festival and ICNS-9 conference (International Conference of Nitride Semiconductors), which introduced LatticePower and its technological progress on production of high powered, silicon based GaN, LED chips to the attendees.
As a pioneer of silicon based GaN LED technology, LatticePower was the first company in the world to achieve volume production of silicon based GaN LED chips, and initially established a dominant position in display and digital areas.
Currently, LatticePower has become the first company to achieve commercialization on silicon based GaN LED high power chips globally, with reliable performance and comparative advantage in product price.
Taipei international Photonics Festival, organized by Taiwan Photonics Industry Development Association, is held annually and has become the largest photonics exhibition in Asia. The festival focuses on photonics technology as its core, and integrates related fields such as semi-conductor, electronics, optics and precision machinery, etc. The exhibited products are generally related to photonics materials, components, applications, equipment, facilities, etc.
The exhibition was held in Taipei World Trade Nangang Exhibition Hall from June 14th to 16th, 2011. Two hundred fifteen LED related companies from China and around the world joined the event. More than 44,000 people attended the exhibition, participating in related talks and forums.
The International Nitride Semiconductor Workshop, the most important seminar for global Nitride materials research, is held every two years, and covers research and technology relating to Nitride materials, components and materials. It provides a good exchange platform between scientists and engineers, and encourages people to discuss issues and solutions to the problems encountered in various fields at present. Moreover, attendees can also share new research and modern technology and seek cooperation opportunities.
The 2011 edition of the ICNS-9 Conference was held in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Center in Glasgow City, Scotland from July 10th to 15th. It attracted top teams engaged in Nitride research from various countries around the world, and thousands of people attended.
